STOP giving reasons for your poor conviction and your lack of willingness to take charge of YOUR health. Poor infrastructure, lack of time, hectic work life, all of these are a given, isn’t it?
You will have the best of amenities in your Apartment complex, you may live next to a beautiful lake or a large Park, but unless you take your health & overall well-being seriously, you will ALWAYS end up giving reasons and not making the most of the wherewithal and facilities that have been bestowed upon you.
No matter what your age, you could exercise or engage in some physical activity daily for atleast half an hour. Not only does exercise tone your body so you can wear your favourite clothes, but it strengthens your muscles, keeps your bones strong, improves your skin and keep young and energetic. Exercise results in relaxation, better sleep and mood, strong immune function, and more.
No matter what stage of life you are in, get into a regular habit of devoting atleast 30 minutes for your exercise. It could be gyming, walking, jogging, swimming, practising Dance, Jumba, Yoga, or whatever suits you and your personality.
Stop waiting for the ideal condition to start your physical activity. It will make a BIG difference to the quality of life and how you enjoy it!
Make friends with like-minded individuals and engage in group exercise sessions!
Make it fun! Work is not everything!
